QC photos are your main tool for catching issues before international shipping. Here’s how to use them effectively.
Request Additional Photos
Most agents provide 3–6 standard shots. Common additional requests:
- Sole photos for sneakers
- Tag/label photos to verify sizing
- Inside seam photos for clothing
- Natural light photos if lighting looks off
Most agents process additional photo requests within 24 hours.
Know What You’re Comparing Against
Before reviewing QC photos, have the official retail photos open for reference. Accurate assessment requires a reference point.
When to Reject
Reject without hesitation if: wrong colorway shipped, wrong size shipped, obvious structural defects, major misalignment on prints, or damage visible in photos.
When Not to Reject
Don’t reject for minor issues that won’t affect your wearing experience — small interior imperfections, slight sole marks that won’t show during use. Rejecting for every minor issue wastes time.
The Restock Option
If your item fails QC, ask the agent if the seller can ship a replacement. Sometimes a new piece from the same batch is significantly better.
