QC (quality control) photos are your only chance to inspect an item before it ships internationally. Knowing what to look for saves a lot of disappointment.
What to Check on Sneakers
- Toe box shape: Does it match the authentic silhouette?
- Stitching: Should be even and consistent. Look for loose threads.
- Color matching: Compare against retail photos. Ask for natural light photos if unsure.
- Sole: Check the outsole pattern and any text stamping.
What to Check on Clothing
- Embroidery and print: Should be sharp, not blurry or misaligned.
- Sizing labels: Check the tag matches what you ordered.
- Seams: Should be straight and even.
When to Reject
Reject if you see obvious defects: wrong colorway, visible damage, major stitching issues, or anything that clearly doesn’t match the product photos.
When It’s Acceptable
Minor imperfections that won’t be visible when worn are usually acceptable. Perfection at this price point isn’t realistic.
